Anyway, got some things done since then! We now have a Monster manual with full art, though only a couple of them are actually made. 5 skills were cut out of the game entirely. They... didn't make the cut, and thinking on it, I realized that they wouldn't actually work in the game at all, so they had to go.
Lots of very small, minor updates across the board.
Progress is slowing down, I think! I'm mostly at the point where I want to stop adding broad sections and want to start adding more content to the existing Catalogues and such, which is pretty time consuming. Shout-out to Wind and BronzeMoarchy on the Discord who have taken some time from their day to populate some of the catalogues themselves!
Anyway, I expect to have a full, working version of Parabellum by the end of April. the big thing that'll be missing is the entire Lore section, which... is admittedly very important, but it's also the least mechanically important part of the TTRPG system.
Play testing is continuing every Saturday, with the next playtest (Session -3) starting in... about 5 mins after this is posted. Today, we're making new characters!

Huh, interesting. Sounds like a far more shadowpunky in style than the books, then? More "Samurai as normal people grubbing out a living", less of "samurai are basically rockstars if they survive their first incursion"?

When I made the models, I just made the first, then copied it nine times, then I went back and emptied them all and replaced the text with new bits and the art with the appropriate art. I haven't finished yet, so there's still some copied-over text remaining! As for the model two... what model two? There's no model two in mine?

2025-03-30 01:35:52 +0000 UTCThe gameplay text for model 5 and 6 is just a copy of model 3, is that a place holder? And what's with model 2 being redacted? I'm very glad to be able to see depictions of all the models though. I could never keep the models clear in my head having this reference is great!
