I would say Gin is around 27, Katsura and Hijikata also around Gin's age. Kondo is more like 29 and Sogo is 18. Shinpachi is 16, Kagura 14 and Otae 18. You can probably guess most of the character's age when you know the above. Other than a few of them being teens, most of them are in their 20s. Though Hasegawa is in his late thirties.
