2022-09-26 22:00:23 +0000 UTCSo one important thing to take note of is that the grail in Apocrypha isn't evil and corrupted like it was in Fate Zero and Heavens feel. In the main Fate universe, it was corrupted during the third holy Grail war(the war before Fate Zero) when the servant Angra Mainyu was summoned, who was so evil that the grail was poisoned and corrupted by him forever. But in Apocrypha, instead of Angra Mainyu being summoned, Shirou Amakusa was summoned instead. And so the grail you see in this series is how the grail is supposed to be, and what Kiritsugu thought it was going to be before he found out it was actually evil.
