Information Regarding My Public Fan Fiction Stories | 私の公開ファンフィクションストーリーに関する情報

Hello everyone! I'm writing this blog to give you an important update in regards to my public fan fiction stories.

The stories in question are:

Sarutobi and Uzumaki

Uzumaki and Yühi

Toad Sage and Cherry Blossom

Tsunade and Udon

Yamanake and Namikaze

Hyuuga Princess

all of which you can find on sites such as PIXIV, AO3 or AFF.

There stories, or this series of stories that it has become, first started out as one single big story. That story still exist on AFF, titled "A Different Take on Naruto". After getting several chapters into that story, I realized that I struggled to write chapters which focused on all the main characters, and there were a lot of main characters in that story. Some pairings were a lot more enjoyable and interesting to write about, such as Konohamaru and Kushina, while I struggled to come up with any kind of plot for some of the others.

That's why I decided to split the story into a series of stories, starting with Sarutobi and Uzumaki. I focused only on that story for a few months before publishing the next one "Uzumaki and Yühi". While focusing only on Sarutobi and Uzumaki, I was able to update the story a lot more regularly and it was also a lot more fun and easier to write it, considering that it was my main focus. As a result the story has the most chapters written, and by far the most words written as well.

Once I started publishing the other stories, the time it took for me to write a new chapter for Sarutobi and Uzumaki increased. Now, the same could be said for any of the stories really, as the time it takes for me to post a chapter for each story just keeps getting longer and longer. It's hard enough to write chapters for six different stories when that is just your main focus. These stories aren't even my main focus though, as most of my free time is spent on creating new fan art and fan fiction chapters for my fans here on fanbox to enjoy. That is not going to change any time soon, as the fanbox content will always have priority.

So what is going to change when it comes to my public stories? The answer is that I'm going to change it back to just one big story. This way I should be able to update the story with new chapters a lot more frequently. I have come up with a way to make it work without the same thing that caused me to split up the story in the past, happening again. If I don't want to write about a certain couple or characters in a chapter, then I just won't. If I want to focus on just on couple or one character, then that's what I will do. All the characters doesn't have to appear every single chapter for their full story to be told. The Tsunade and Udon story is already a lot more fast paced than most of the other stories to begin with, so I don't think it would hurt their story at all, if they or any other couple, stayed on the sidelines for a chapter. It could also have the opposite effect, that some of these couples gets more scenes, because events could become more interesting to write when every characters thoughts and reactions are told at the same time.

An example of that would be, what is Ino thinking when she is teasing Jiraiya? In Toad Sage and Cherry Blossom, you only get that scene from Jiraiya's point of view and you have to wait for the chapter to be released in Yamanaka and Namikaze, before reading the scene from Ino's point of view.

Another positive of just having one big story, is that I am going to tell all the stories this time. How did Kiba and Hana get together? What is Shizune doing in the academy every evening? Why is Tenten banging Gai of all people? And so on. All their stories will be told as well, without Moegi having to tell us about them. Moegi will remain as a perverted little voyeur though.

In this new version of the story, I am also going to give the world and the characters a lot more back story. The first chapter is going to be one big prologue, explaining all the events of the past. That way Nohara Rin's horrible fate won't have to be told a million times, Hiruzen and Mikoto's secret relationship will be explained, and Tsunade's relationship with Nawaki will also be a part of that prologue, along with any other important past event.

What happens to the stories now? For now they are going to stay up on the sites where they have been uploaded. That may change later on, when this new story has caught up to them, timeline wise. I might remove them then, since there is no point in keeping them up.

When is the new story getting published? Soon hopefully. I have a few things I want to get done for my fanbox fans first, one of which is a new chapter for my fanbox exclusive fan fiction story "Teacher and Student".
