I won't mention the age of any anyone in the story as I prefer to have my readers use their imagination and decide on that themselves. Chapter 9 - Kushina's New Hobby

All three members of the Uzumaki/Namikaze household were up early the next morning, eating breakfast together in the kitchen. Kushina nodded, smiling mischievously “He told me before he went out to train. We will leave as soon as he gets here, which shouldn't be long now” she explained, in the most formal way she could. Calling Konohamaru “her student” instead of the more familiar “Konohamaru-kun” or “Kon-kun”, which is what she usually calls her new boyfriend.

“I see” Naruto said with a mischievous smile “I hope you won't go easy on him. I want you to give him the full experience, if you know what I mean” he said with an eye wink of his own. He was basically telling her that he no longer cared if they had sex.

Kushina sighed “You are both being ridiculous. I know full well that Konohamaru-kun is not an Uzumaki, nor does he have that fox inside of him. I will make sure he works hard, but I obviously won't overdo it”.

“I know, I'm sure you will be a great teacher for him, honey” Minato said with a warm smile. He then asked “How long did you reckon you would be gone? Did you say a week?”.

Kushina nodded “A week minimum. I might extend the training trip, depending on well he performs” she said, then sneakily eye winked at Naruto. Kushina is going to extend the training trip. That's already a part of her plans. The only way that doesn't happen, is if she and Konohamaru would somehow break up. That's something she doesn't see happening, so she expects them to be out of the village for at least two weeks, but hopefully more than that. She intends to send Minato a messenger toad, to let him know that they will be out of the village longer.

“Okay, it's going to be lonely here without you” Minato said pouting. In reality he was thinking “That means that me and Ino-chan can spend the whole day here, without having to worry about getting caught.. I wonder if she can spend the night, I doubt Naruto would come into our bedroom..”.

“Aww” Kushina exclaimed, smiling at her husband. She had no reason to believe that he was not sincere with his words, since she has no idea about his relationship with Ino.

“It's just for a week, darling!” she said in a kind tone.

“Ugh” Naruto exclaimed in disgust, while he got up “If you're gonna get like that early in the morning, then I'm out of here...” he said before doing a hand sign.

“Have fun on your training trip mom, take care of the little shit will ya?” he said with a wide grin, as he was about to disappear in a gust of wind, having used a wind teleportation technique “Don't ride him too hard, dattebayo!”

“We will see! See you in a week, sweety!” Kushina said while waving him off, as Naruto disappeared along with the wind technique.

Minato was the next to get up, with a grunt of “I better get to work as well. Take care now, Kushina”.

“You take care as well, Minato” Kushina said in a stern tone “And don't just eat ramen and microwaved food all week. Just because I'm gone, doesn't mean that you and Naruto can eat junk food all day!”.

Minato hung his head “Did you have to remind me that I won't be able to eat your food for a whole week? That's going to be torture..” he said as he walked down out of the kitchen, causing Kushina to laugh out loud.

“We will be fine, Kushina. Don't worry” Minato said with a chuckle, before heading out of the front door.

“It's my stuff, shouldn't I have packed my stuff?” Konohamaru asked in confusion.

“No you did right in packing your things. I just can't accept my student walking around with a backpack” Kushina said as she reached for the backpack to remove it from his shoulders. “Let me show you what I mean” she said once she had gotten the backpack off of him. Then in less than three seconds, she somehow made a scroll appear, drew the symbols for a storage seal on that scroll and then lastly, sealed Konohamaru's backpack into it.

“There” Kushina said with a proud smirk, handing Konohamaru the small scroll “I'm a master of sealing techniques. I am from the village of Whirlpools, after all” she said with an eye wink “I can't have my student walking around like that. It would be embarrassing”.

“Uh.. Okay” Konohamaru said as he pocketed the scroll “You didn't teach me about seals and stuff, though..”:

“I just realized that” Kushina said with a nod “Which means that you can look forward to two hours of lessons in the sealing arts every day from now on, until I deem you proficient enough in the arts”.

“I will make you understand why seals are so useful and powerful, before this training trip is over”.

“I get it. I won't complain about seals again” Konohamaru said with a chuckle.

“Great. Let's head out then!” Kushina said as she turned around to lock the front door.

“Don't you mean our Naruto-kun?” Anko asked with a frown.

“Our Naruto-kun, and my Naruto-kun” Kurenai said in a stern tone “Just like he is yours, he is mine. Especially mine” she said before entering the bathroom.

“You can shower after me, Anko-chan. Let's head over to Shizune-san's after that, then go find Naruto for round two” Kurenai said before the door closed.

Authors Note: And that's the end of chapter 9. I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders now that this chapter is finished.
