Hi everyone. Yesterday I read about the bad news which was announced on PIXIV and on twitter. These changes will directly affect my fanbox and the content I can have on it. In case you have missed it, then you can read it here: https://www.pixiv.net/info.php?id=8789

Basically these changes will mean that I will no longer be able to draw characters like Konohamaru, Udon, genin Sakura, Ino, Naruto and so on. Even Shippuuden characters will be in the grey zone, although a fan art similar to "Hinata's New Outfit" should still be okay.

I don't think anyone can argue that this is not the body of an adult woman. That along with a disclaimer of every character I draw being at least 18 years old, should at least mean that I should be able to draw Shippuden characters, as long as I draw them in this way.

Things that I won't be able to draw is as mentioned, the younger looking characters. But I also can't draw any fan art involving incest, meaning no more Naruto and Kushina fan art. I also can't draw bestiality, which is a shame since I had plans to draw some Akamaru x Hinata fan art in the future.

My old work which contains fan art of things that will not be allowed (from December 14th and onwards), must be removed from my fanbox by then. Because of that I would urge you to download and save the fan art and comics that you would like to save and keep. Here are a few links to some of my larger works which will unfortunately be removed.

Those are some of my blogs with the most content on them, but there are obvliously more fan art that may disappear from smaller blogs. Since you have pledged to me here on fanbox and paid for these, I wanted to let you guys know about these changes as fast as possible. That way you can save any fan art that you want to save.

Now going forward, what will happen here on my fanbox with all of these changes?

I am not completely sure yet what to do, as these changes came as a total surprise to me. I have a couple of ideas of how I could change my fanbox and still keep going. My first idea is to focus more on fan fiction. That way I will be able to keep this crackverse going similarly to how I have been in the past. I will combine my fan fiction stories with safe for work images of the couples and outfit images of the female characters. An example of that would be Hinata's New Outfit, or Kushina's lingerie in the latest chapter of "Teacher and Student". Then I would also draw some NSFW fan art of characters that does not break the new rules in any way. A tall Shippuuden version of Naruto x Kurenai, Ino x Minato, a nude Kushina or semi nude Kushina posing in Konohamaru's clothes or something along those lines. I still think I can draw some interesting stuff.

My second idea is to lower the prices of my pledges, maybe even remove the jounin pledge completely, then remove all NSFW art from my fanbox. Then I would only focus on my fan fiction stories, basically turning this into a fan fiction fanbox. In my fan fiction stories, I always have a disclaimer at the start of the story, mentioning that all the characters has had their age raised to at least 18. The whole purpose of writing fan fiction is to change the original stories which your fan fictions are based on, in your own way. Changes like changing someone's age, is rather common, and is something that would allow me to write the same things I have been.

In those disclaimers I also always mention that I will never actually write the characters age in the story. This is to allow the readers to decide for themselves what they prefer. In other words, you as the reader can use your imagination and picture the characters from any Naruto timeline that you prefer. As far as I know, there is no current rules against people using their imagination, at least not for now. I think that may be something they are working on though (lol).

These changes aren't set in stone yet. I would like to hear your opinion on it. As my fans here on fanbox, you are the ones that keeps me motivated and basically the reason why I am still doing this. Coming next here on fanbox, I am going to put my stories on halt for a while in order to get out as many fan arts as possible, before these new rules are implemented. I have about a month (until December 14th) before I have to remove the fan art that will break the new rules (Younger characters, incest and so on). I will also try to get the "Minato's Wedding Surprise" comic done before that as well, or at the very least, any part involving Konohamaru and Kushina.

If an alternative to fanbox is ever created, where I can draw fictional cartoon characters freely again, then I will consider moving there. Unfortunately there is no alternative at this moment, and I will continue to be on fanbox and give it a chance with the new rules. I urge you all to give me some feedback and input, on how I can keep my fanbox going in a way that would still be worth pledging to/following.

I am really sorry for these news, and trust me when I say that they have upset me as much as they have probably upset you. PIXIV and fanbox was to me the last place where artists could use their freedom of expression, where you could tell the obvious difference between a drawn fictional 2D cartoon characters vs a picture of real actual person.

Whenever any changes will come to my fanbox, be it changes to the pledges, or anything being removed, then I will let you know about it beforehand. I will talk about this more throughout the month, to keep you updated on what will happen.
