This film was mainly a set up for the trilogy (which funny coincidence was announced today aswell) and trust me, this is the most easiest version of the lore to understand William Afton isn't even confirmed until the silver eyes book which then was canonically made accurate to the games for the 5th. The reasons the kids posses the suits is a bit confusing at the moment but pretty much the souls of the body's bond to the metal of the endo skeletons. Also in the credits after the iconic fnaf 1 song by the living tombstone another song plays which is the same song as the puppets music box from fnaf 2 with a weird voice saying "come find me". Scott cawthon has said that after the film released in cinemas he was going to make changes to the sequel to make it a better experience for the fans, honestly the lore is just so complicated was the reason I suggested the film because it's much more simple than the games
