Everyone needs to watch/re-watch Go-Onger. But that is coming from a big Go-Onger fan. First sentai i watched start to finish.

I know it's a stereotype from anime but women of any nationality can fund the weirdest thing "kawaii". Hell, any gender (or lack there of) can. As for the monsters: This is a comedy Sentai series. It will have its more serious parts (episodes 8 and 9) but they won't be the primary focus in every episode. If Boonboomger takes after most car-themed sentai like Go-Onger, you will see some dark shit closer to mid-season. Just sit back and enjoy the ride (bun intend).
