Interestingly enough, this case mentions the Nagano department being nearby. Nagano and Gunma being close is a recurring joke in the series, because Yamamura tends to appear when the case is close to Nagano (and Conan&Co are far from happy to see his face XD ). Well I say this, but the Nagano police has yet to appear in the series.
