Yeah, superintendent Kiyonaga Matsumoto was introduced way back in EP 18 (June Bride Murder Case), so the author dug deep into the archives to bring him back lol interestingly enough, that case also had a past incident of a vehicle striking and killing someone. Pretty cool that even the superintendent technically had a similar experience to this case, even if it wasn’t brought up. Since the subs also translated the fashion style the victims were a part of, the term you were probably looking for is Yamanba and Ganguro, which are substyles of the overall Gyaru fashion style. As for Megure and Midori, there’s a three-year difference. At this point, Megure is 41 and Midori is 38. I guess you can add Midori to the list of characters that look way younger for their age lol And some big news for you lol the next canon episode is a two-hour special, EP 219. This one’s a big one, I feel a lot of us have been eagerly waiting for you to reach the next episode lol although, you should probably make sure that the website you’re using actually has EP 219, length being an hour and 30-something minutes. I’m a little intrigued that the preview we briefly saw actually skipped 219 and instead showed EP 220, which is also a canon episode. If you want to make sure you have the correct version, EP 219 starts off with a white box being formed, filled in with a blue background with the Japanese characters of Detective Conan and the word “special” appearing on top. It’s probably nothing, but pretty curious that the preview seemingly skipped a whole episode lol

In his first appearance, his daughter was victim of an assassination attempt during her wedding. In general he appears in important cases that involve the police station, like Detective Love Story I where there was different cases inside one episode.
