Magiverse character reference sheets - 2019

These have been more or less 'done' since last year, but I kept putting off posting them since I had planned on adding more to Wolfie's sheet. But at this rate I don't know if I'll get them done, so I may as well post these :P

These are main characters in a universe my partner and I have been slowly working on for years. Initially I planned on making it a comic, but comics aren't really my forte I've discovered. We've toyed with the idea of making the universe into a game, with myself doing the art and him programming it, but we've only recently started actually tinkering with it. We'll have to see what becomes of it, but I'd really love to see if we can make something of it! Story name is supposed to be placeholder, but we still haven't come up with a better one lmao

Here's a few tidbits of the characters:

Quill - female, canine. Powerful, mostly self-taught sorceress. Personality is a rather distant and aloof, but she shows she cares in her own way once you've wormed your way into her heart. Loves to experiment with spells and potions, always testing the limits of her magic. More of a jack-of-all-trades with her skills, doesn't like putting herself into a box. Has an obsession with collecting and studying magical artifacts. More intellectual than creative, though she has her moments.

Kitty - male, feline. Real name 'unknown', due to story events found his way to Quill's doorstep with amnesia. Has no idea of his past or who he was. Quill takes him in as an 'assistant' at first since he has nowhere to go - more or less glorified guinea pig - and gives him his nickname. She's not very good at naming things.
Friendly and open, and patient - he has to be with Quill. Doesn't have the standard magical powers- instead discovers he has a knack for pulling latent magical attributes out of items, usually raw materials or occasionally items and armor which he then amplifies and experiments with in the forge Quill lets him take over on her land. His enchantments don't always work out the way he'd hoped - but then again, neither does Quill's. They make a good pair, though it takes some time for Quill to admit it. 

Wolfie - male, dire-canine. Quill named him - see a pattern? Very friendly, kind and curious to the point of being almost weird, specially coming from a direwolf. Hails from a pack of direwolves Quill has a pact with - they live in the magical forest that surrounds her home, and help protect it, and in turn they have a safe place to live and a sorceress that's more than willing to help them curb their more base instincts with magic. As such the pack is much more 'intelligent' than other dire animal packs, but still live simply. Wolfie got attached to Quill early on, intrigued by her magic, and was her first true 'assistant' - again, guinea pig. Comes and goes, doesn't live with Quill but visits frequently, or whenever she calls for him. Very loyal to Quill, and eventually Kitty too. The muscle of the group. Doesn't have any magical skills aside from being a direwolf, which gives him super-strength and speed for something that large. Has a natural defense against typical magical effects, which Quill loves to test the limits of.
