Preview 12

Dialogue is a thing now, there's not much to say about it, works like in any other game. The text crawl can be skipped if you find it tedious or in the event of repeating dialogue. But dialogue isn't the most interesting part of this preview, it's the way in which characters react to player state and activity. The idea isn't to make super immersive npcs, that's for another game, but small little reactions to the player farting or being naked can add a lot and will hopefully make you a bit more conscious about what you do in settled areas.

Besides that you may have noticed the change in environment. I'm playing around with tiles to try and streamline making a bunch of rooms. I do like how they look, but I'm still unsure whether I'll continue using them.

I've also been thinking and rethinking parts of the broader design of this game. Don't worry it will still be about farting and survival, but my idea of a simple survival game is shifting around. I won't go too deep into it because I've yet to get it all sorted, but the basic idea of it is to put more emphasis on exploration and preparation, rather than simple resource gathering.
