Heart-Conqueror Patron Stream - Introducing the mercy system
Added 2019-09-10 19:14:31 +0000 UTCAs many of you already know, starting this month I added a mercy system to the patron streams. I've always used a raffle method when choosing slots to keep things as fair and unbiased as possible. However, "random" doesn't always mean "fair" in the long run and I noticed many patrons and myself were unhappy with occurrences where individuals would try for MONTHS and lose again and again. To combat this my mods and I have come up with a mercy system: Each time you enter and fail to win a slot raffle your name will be tallied in a spreadsheet we keep track of. At 20 failed attempts (There are 16 possible chances a month), you will automatically be given a slot next stream. For half slots where priority is given to outstanding sketches, we'll ask for names and count it as a loss for those who were not able to get that slot.
