Plans for Next Month’s Animations

Hey everyone! I just finished the latest animations for this month, and they’ll be out in a few minutes. Before that, I want to share some ideas and plans for what’s coming next. Your support means a lot, and I’m excited to try new things to make my work even better. Here’s what I’m thinking about for the next month.

Custom Sound for Animations

Right now, I use free sound packs to add basic audio to my animations. You might have noticed that the sounds can feel a bit repetitive because I don’t change them much. A while back, I reached out to someone to ask about the cost of custom voice acting or sound design. Thanks to your support, this could be possible, but I’m still figuring out how to handle the money transactions from my side. I’m also thinking hard about whether custom audio is worth it, since my animations aren’t big story-driven projects that need unique sounds. For now, it’s just an idea I’m exploring, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on it.

Bringing Back Detailed Backgrounds

I’ve been using HDRI for my animations because it speeds up rendering a lot. But lately, I’ve noticed it affects the mood of the visuals. It limits my ability to add interesting gradient lighting or create a specific atmosphere. Next month, I plan to go back to using detailed backgrounds and better lighting, even if it means longer render times. I think this will make the animations feel more alive and unique.

Moving Away from Repetitive Animation Cycles

My animations often have a looping feel, not just because they reset at the end, but because the movements can feel too similar throughout. This makes them look a bit boring sometimes. I want to spend more time on each animation to make every second feel unique, with more varied movements or details. I recently used a “arcade machine” asset in an upcoming animation, and I really liked how it turned out. You’ll definitely see it again with other characters. If you want to see more of this asset or have ideas for it, let me know in the comments!

Other Possible Changes

I’m also thinking about making animations longer or maybe adding some kind of story to them. Nothing is set in stone yet, especially since summer is ending and another year of university will start soon, which might take up more of my time. I don’t want to promise anything I can’t deliver, but I’m excited to experiment and see what works.

Thank you all for supporting my work! Let me know what you think about these ideas or if there’s something specific you’d like to see in the animations. Your feedback helps me a lot!
