oh really, we did some research after and found it to be a true event which was interesting. oh wait this is an actual place, i thought it was random farm they filmed the movie on, that actually sounds so cool. I think me and Manesh need to do a American film road trip one day

2025-02-28 12:46:27 +0000 UTCThose all look like really good movies, The Untouchables (1987) and Dances with Wolves (1990) is definitely on our list (although wolves is 4 hours long, its longer then most Bollywood movies π€£, but it is still on our list) another good one I (shyam) saw years back was The Postman and Wyatt Earp. im loving him in Yellowstone at the moment .

2025-02-28 01:46:31 +0000 UTCYes, Shoeless Joe Jackson was a real person, and the story of 1919 World Series is real. Eight Men Out is a really good drama film depicting that series of events. All these years later, many people still call for Shoeless Joe to be unsuspended so he can be put in the baseball Hall of Fame. I've been to Iowa to visit the house and field, but it was the wrong time of year so the corn wasn't very tall, if it had started growing at all. Very cool place to visit, right in the middle of what is still farm country. A The residents of the town of Dyersville got to participate in the last shot, lining their cars up on the road, and then they used their radios to coordinate turning their lights on and off to make it look like they were moving.
