2025-02-28 12:57:18 +0000 UTCI agree that now would be the perfect time to watch "The Plan", which is essentially just an extended episode and not so much an independent movie - it has the same structure, same sets, same cast as a normal episode, but it gives more detail and clarity regarding various moments in the series (mostly seasons 1 and 2) that we have already seen but not understood fully the hidden explanations -- the "plan," so to speak. And now that you have seen the reveal of this episode, especially the sadistic manipulations of Cavil, you have all the prerequisite information you need. At any rate, my recommendation is that "The Plan" should be seen BEFORE Season 4 Episode 17 - so you do have one more episode to think about it.

This would be the perfect time to watch the TV movie, The Plan, it fits chronologically with the info you have. It's all lore, really. The Galactica's quarters room, Adama's are quite cozy and a safe reprieve for him, so to see the tear stretching right into place that almost was sacrilegious for him.
