2023-03-01 21:05:57 +0000 UTCI did not grow up listening to Linkin Park, I only know like one or two of their songs. I've admittedly had a very closed mind regarding music. It was always classic rock or nothing, like not even other genres of rock haha. But I've become more open minded as of late and I've discovered so many amazing artists and genres, many infact through reactors such as yourself. I even like some pop music now haha. Anyways, I really liked this song. The video is beautiful too. I love the part at about the 1:50 min mark, its like they're falling into a painting and its stunning. I also pulled it up on spotify to just listen without the visuals and really zone in on the lyrics. It hits really close to home. I've replayed it like 10 times now and I totally feel what you were saying about the build up of the verses sort of swirling into the chorus. I'm excited to go back and discover their other stuff. Music is such a special kind of art and its always fun to share it. So thanks for sharing this with us, I loved your reaction when the vocals first hit and the little oohs you let out throughout 🥰 It's so fun to see your excitement and hear how they impacted you over the years. But it makes me happy to see you review music. I know you love music alot and you used to review music videos alot more years back. 🤗 I never got super into this band but my best friend LOVED them! She'd play them all the time when we hung out back then. I have fond memories of them just because of that alone. I was more of a Deftones girl which we both LOVED as well!!! You seriously need to do more music stuff dude. It's obvious how much you love it and I like seeing a happy John. 😉 💙

2023-02-15 23:50:41 +0000 UTCDamn talk about a song becoming a time machine…I was like 16 when meteora came out and that plus hybrid theory were basically the soundtrack to my teenage years. Linkin park has been one of those bands I’ve always loved(although I never saw them live,which a part of me regrets) I’ve listened to this song enough to know the lyrics now and each time I start crying cause it hits so much differently now. Also the fact that this would’ve actually been ON meteora if they didn’t already have numb…wow.(Mike Shinoda said that in an interview)
