The bottle that Rufus gave Bobby is the same one that Jody & Sam drank when Dean was sent to 1944 back in S7. Very good callback!<p></p> <p>9The reason the mother & son were able to wake up and leave the nest is because their bodies were still alive. The others were dead, so they were trapped along with the soul eater.</p> <p>This is pretty good episode,and it's always nice to see Bobby & Rufus. I love the roundtable backflash & present was really well done.</p>

Im actually enjoying the anticipation of waiting a whole week between episodes because I have something to look forward to every Saturday to get me through the week. So happy to experience this show for the first time with you guys. This episode was a nice surprise, Bobby and Rufus!!! Yet another reason I'm loving season 11. The parallels and transitions in this episode were golden 😍 Plus the call back with the bottle of Johnnie. And the send off of both storylines to 🎶Midnight Rider🎶 was *chef's kiss*. And side note - I'm sad Dean is back to losing at rock, paper, scissors 😂 Oh, oh and hearing Rufus call Bobby "papa bear"! 🥰 🥺 Random thought - you should make blood splat merch. Like a tshirt or something. It's literally one of things I look forward to the most in these Supernatural reactions is hearing you guys say blood splat 😆 Also maybe a "Patrons are better" t shirt as well 🤭 Anyways, take care guys.
