2023-03-23 13:10:01 +0000 UTCSeason 12 is definitely a major improvement, personally I would say it’s on par with season 6 for me in terms of quality whereas season 11 is like season 1 in that I like it but it’s not my fav and I wouldn’t go out of my May to rewatch it save for a few episodes, season 13 is on par with 3/4 and her last episode is on par with the 50th if not slightly better in my opinion however if people want a discussion I’ll talk more about that on the discord for (river song voice) spoilers

2023-03-23 02:58:23 +0000 UTCThere are some elements to like. But not a finale I'll be placing anywhere near the top for all of NuWho. The production values have been pretty great this series. The music took some adjusting to, but I began to appreciate it more on rewatches. The guess actors performance's have been among some of the best we've been. The ideas have shown some promise, if not aimlessly applied and illfully cohesive; when looking at some episodes on their own, or at the whole series in it's entirety. The scripts and structure have been fairly mediocre 60-70% of the time. Ironically a clip surfaced of a young Chris Chibnal critiquing the quality of the writing for Classic Doctor Who. I found that very amusing when I saw it. I wasn't nearly as entertained, or emotionally influenced as I'd been in previous series. But this series wasn't without it's moments.
