Great episode can’t wait to get into this new season it’s my fave of her seasons and has a lot of good episodes for me.

2023-03-31 17:09:10 +0000 UTCI imagine that a lot of the reviews were mostly trolls and on the hate brigade that many Youtubers and others went on. The boomer humor in this episode doesn't always land but I forgot how much this episode works for me. The Dalek is obviously the best thing for me but also surprisingly I really like Jodie's Doctor here.

2023-03-29 23:42:38 +0000 UTCIt's no secret that I'm a vocal critic for this era, though I think I've been objectivity fair. (Stop with the IMDB check, they'll only confuse ya, and you can see they're not balanced and reflective as a whole. 🤣) I actually quite like this one a fair bit. It might even be in my top 3 Dalek stories for NuWho. I know, look at me not hatin for a free ride on the bandwagon. I don't have many gripes really. By this point I've settled with the aspects that I have less appreciation for. Some of those work well for this special. That WIFI joke is a eye roller for sure. But actually guys, you've changed my perspective on that one. Framing it like a 80's cheesy action movie, it becomes more in keeping, so thus nags me a whole lot less. I'm not saying we've necessarily turned a corner by this point. But this one is up there for this era and ranks reasonably high over all.
