The thing about Stain is that he became angry at the state of the term hero in a society that had become over saturated with people that were getting into the business for only the fame and money. He targeted people who didnt really uphold the title of hero. With the state of the world what it is right now all the vain heroes are being weeded out and only the ones that actually embody the spirit of heroes are still fighting
