Great reaction, this is one of my favorite movies, I have fun watching it everytime and I've seen it like 15 times, also a huge Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine fan, if you want to see more of Tyler Labine(Dale ) he was on a great show REAPER befor this movie and he had a great show DEADBEAT and he has more of a dramatic type role(plays a psychologist) in the amazingly great show NEW AMSTERDAM

My dad grew up in the backwoods of North Georgia (very like W Virginia really - now that I live closer to WVA, I can see that) and I never saw him laugh as hard as he did for this movie (well, maybe for O Brother Where Art Thou too). He said that Tucker and Dale were basically just his cousins or uncles going on a fishing trip. They even had old hunting cabins like that one which I've seen very often in horror films... down to the mildewed old camp bedding, random semi-broken or broken furniture and hefty looking tools just laying around, nails sticking halfway out of hastily repaired boards... But it's really just a harmless step-up from sleeping in a tent while you're hunting or fishing for the weekend with the boys LOL. So when the series of events in the movie start to unfold - he just couldn't handle it, because he could see that exact reaction if this were happening to his Cousin Adam or Scott or Uncle Bubba. ;)
