I feel like this episode is just the epitome of what Psych is: silly, hilarious, energetic, clever, sentimental…just all the things. :) The deep cut references in this and the very quick-witted banter that so naturally exudes from Shawn and Gus all the time feels even more prevalent in this one, and I love it. It’s almost like the writers did a supercut or special edition episode of all the nuanced/specific type of humor that makes everyone love the show (if that makes sense) and gave us a fan service treat lol
