Agreed, the visuals are stunning and the score was amazing! I just want you to know that your sacrifice of not seeing this on the big screen and waiting to react does not go unnoticed! I live far from family but I got to visit my sister when this came out and we saw it in theaters with my little nephew. He loved it! He was so excited and literally laughing out loud, it was the cutest thing π₯° Loved the rainbow road scene. And we were all singing Peaches on the way home ππ€π»π Jack Black was just fantastic! His Peaches music video, complete with a peach piano, is silly and wonderful haha. But all that said, I definitely understand the story telling criticism and I'm right there with ya, it had the potential for so much more. Great reaction guys! Much love!

2023-05-16 20:26:09 +0000 UTCI actually totally agree that this movie is pretty surface level as far as story telling. I think the animation and the music were by far the best parts of it! I could see kids really enjoying this, but as an adult who grew up on the Mario Bros, this did leave me wanting on the story end. Also, definitely would have loved more Mario and Luigi together. :) This was fun to watch along with you guys again though!
