That's a good point I hadn't considered about John's journal. I think because they always call it his "journal" I just thought of it as her being able to read his private thoughts and day-to-day stuff, but I never really took a second to be like... that's a 500 page notebook of all the horrible things that tried to kill her husband and sons, which only happened because of her....yeah. Not exactly comforting, Sammy π I mean, remember when they did the same thing to Henry Winchester and he immediately tried to jump back in time and risk the end of the world cause he was so distraught?

Rick Springfield did more acting when he was younger and had it own TV show.

I can't stand what they did the beginning of this episode where the bmol lady used sexual assault to get Sam to answer her questions. It's always so gross to me, I hate it especially after Sam's anatomy has been used without his consent already a lot this show, and they never acknowledge it.

I'm confused. Did John say he went to school with Rick Springfield? That's not possible. He's over 60 years old. I know I heard it wrong.
At this point I'm still on the fence about Mick. He seems authentic and wants to be allies, but I do not trust or like Lady Bevell. And is this Ketch an assassin? That's the implication I get.
Again, I'm not sure I if I like the Mary returning arc. No matter how long it goes - the rest of the series, one season, or several seasons. The guys whole lives were built on revenge for Mary's death. How do they fit together. now as adults?
Hope you're feeling better Greg.

I totally agree, I think Mary being back is an interesting dynamic because we as the audience don't know where she fits and it doesn't seem like Sam, Dean, or even Mary herself knows either just yet. BTW Mary said it was her fault for everything because if you remember in one of the past episodes, Dean goes back in time and we see the yellow-eyed demon Azazel kill both Mary's parents as well as John. Then Mary makes a deal with the demon in order to resurrect John which involved her granting the demon access to her home in ten years which is when she dies and Sam becomes one of those "gifted" children or whatever.

I am still unsure how I feel about the British Men of Letters.. however I do really like both Ketch and Mick! Also now that itβs not a spoiler, the Lucifer and Crowley storyline is my personal fav of this season, I find it way more engaging than anything else. I think itβs the best thing to come out of this season!
