Fun drinking game - take a shot whenever there's a tragic backstory in Demon Slayer. For real though, I'm not saying it excuses the way he treated Nezuko in s1, but seeing what Sanemi went through in the past really helps put into perspective the way he feels about demons.And poor Genya who seems to have only survived because he was holding his little brother who got slashed instead. I always lo a good "hug me" attack and Nezuko latching on to the sadness demon and setting herself on fire was fantastic. Also the detail of when Tanjiro comes rushing in to save Genya he seems to not be fully in control of his body as he almost flails through the air after cutting the lightning demons hand off. Also I am caught up on the anime so just a few episodes ahead but I always try to be careful with what I say so i dont spoil anything
