Somehow missed that it was a holiday movie, but it kinda gives it a Shane Black vibe & was a super nice surprise overall. Had a BLAST with this & CANNOT WAIT to check out the rest of the movies!!

I love that Maggie and Omundson have that kind of relationship where you feel that realness in it. ๐ซถ Wow I didnโt know that about Levi! Gotta say, Anthony Rapp was a great choice though lol, he nailed that role.

2023-06-20 03:42:19 +0000 UTCI'm sure others will mention but originally the film was meant to have Tim Omundson as Lassie in his usual co-starring role but then when he had his stroke Steve Franks and James Roday rewrote the entire film in one night without him in it. Maggie Lawson also said the facetime call she has with Tim was basically all ad-libbed and was more just the two actors talking than the characters. Also fun fact: Zachary Levi was meant to be in Psych: The Musical and they literally wrote the character 'Z' for him to play but then he had to drop out last minute and they cast Anthony Rapp to replace him.
