Throughout history the planet was populated by different apex species, from animals to humans, and within human kind we had divisions based on knowledge and fire power possessed, and now we have the Chimera Ants who like you saw, are starting to learn all the tricks of humans, and they have the advantage of being giant 7ft tall ants!
