2022-03-31 19:32:10 +0000 UTCThis season was filmed back to back with Season 6. At San Diego Comic Con 2019, the show runners said that they were already filming the series finale. So, this is more of an extended 26 episode season than two separate 13 episode seasons. The woman in the red dress is named Viola but I think she is meant to be a version of Sinthea Schmidt aka Sin, Red Skull's daughter.

2022-03-31 12:49:25 +0000 UTCWelcome back to shield john. Now this season premiered a year after ENDGAME so just like every season themes match the movies we have the team time traveling. Many people asked questions like when steve went back with peggy would he let hydra exists if it meant preserving his timeline and AOS takes that moral question and expands it this season with our team. How easy is it to watch bad people do horrible things if it means preserving the timeline? There will be many references to classic films like terminator and many more so look out for them. Now Freddy Malick we have sort of seen before in AOS. He is the father of Gideon Malick(Powers Boothe's) who in season 3 told ward to go get Hive from that alien planet Simmons was on. In 3x16 episode we see a flashback and a young gideon and his brother Nathaniel at their fathers funeral before they were fully place in hydra. This episode implies that the mission he is on will be the reason his family and hydra became so big. This season is truly a great ride and if you have any questions they all will be answered by the end of the season. Also the machine may was in was very similar to the one Hawkeye was in.

2022-03-31 11:49:30 +0000 UTCeven though we're only in ep 1 of this season, i've been watching season 3 and it's so nice to see all of the growth in these characters, of course especially simmons. you can feel how high the stakes are for her, even though they're going in this pretty blind.
