I don't get it, do you not understand why she shot Eren? You want her to magically react unrealistically for her position? She shot Eren because he's her (and everyone she knows) #1 enemy and wants to destroy the world and everyone she loves. You expect her to just sit to the side and ignore him? I can't comprehend how you hold that part against her, it's irrational. I feel like for someone with a stubborn stance such as yours to come around and like Gabi would be bad writing on the show's part because it would only come from messing up her character. I truly cannot understand how some people have such a one-sided view and hate for Gabi. If you track her character and decisions and reasons for her actions through the whole season her character makes complete sense, and her development from this point also makes sense so I never found myself hating her in the slightest. Even when she killed Sasha I couldn't rationalize hating her, how could I? From her perspective Sasha was an enemy, so called "Devils" on Eren's side coming to kill everyone, who helped cause Udo and Zofia's death and the death of the guards she cared about. How could she NOT want to kill Sasha? Of course she does. Same reason Eren used to be so hell bent on killing Reiner and Bertholdt.

2022-04-09 01:52:18 +0000 UTCThis ep. had a theme of recalling traumatic moments from the past, Connie's mom, that moment when Kaya's mom was eaten my a titan, even that scene when the titans were starting to break into the castle and the young soldiers were afraid was a call back to S1 when they first tried to break in and eat everybody, and I might be wrong but I think that guy with glasses that almost got eaten was from that earlier ep. And hey, you wanna keep your stance in Eren's camp, that's ok, I also keep my stance that I don't like Gabi! I see what the show tries to do with her, but I think there's not enough substance for her character to balance out all the bad & irritating things she did, like just 2 eps ago she shot Eren, are we forgetting that? Now in hindsight, that might of been a good thing, but in the moment it was yet another infuriating thing that tipped the scale into the bad direction for me.
