I’ve never understood the hate for Clara honestly. The people who hate on her are usually the people who missed the whole point of her story arc and how deeply nuanced and complex she was

I think she is a marvelous “companion” because she challenges The Doctor rather than tagging along or simply acting like a love interest or a best friend. Madame Vastra even calls Clara “the person who knows him best.”

2022-04-18 01:51:56 +0000 UTCYeah it was his 64th birthday I believe earlier this week, it’s also been David Bradley’s birthday this week too and it’s David Tennants/ Camille Coduri (Jackie Tyler) Birthday today and was Peter Davison’s birthday last week and Neve Macintosh’s (Madame Vastra) birthday on the 9th of April so there’s a lot of Doctor who Birthdays around about now 😂

2022-04-17 20:31:52 +0000 UTCI'm really happy you guys are enjoying Clara so much. She's my favorite companion and sadly she gets a lot of hate from a part of the fandom. The argument between Doctor and Danny is very uncomfortable to watch but in part because Danny is mostly right. The Doctor is an officer, the main part of his disdain against soldiers comes from his own experience from the war.
