2022-04-24 22:56:47 +0000 UTCYeah I know this episode has a lot going on plot wise but at the same time, not too much character wise. I get it, but just remember about the Nickelodeon intervention (I keep bringing it up cause I hope you've seen that news at least once before checking out the finale) Nick cut their budget, and made them reopen the season 1 ending that was just a miniseries. So they rushed the production again and had to make another series ending so keep in mind that this finale they also thought this was going to be their final season. Yeah they didn't get to really emphasize the weight of this threat. But the world is in danger, like the next 10,000 years are covered in that purple darkness at the end of the episode with Unalaq as the new avatar. For Unalaqs motivations I actually really like them as well. He believes spirits and man should be united. Not the worst idea, but however his arrogance lets him think that he is the only one strong or wise enough to lead the world into that new chapter. But he's in over his head because you're right. Vaatu probably doesn't care about that philosophy. He wants darkness to be in control. So for all his power, Unalaq is playing a very risky move with this big bad spirit. I hope you enjoy the last two episodes though guys, see you next week! ❤
