Reginald really caught me off guard this season and I liked how they almost make you feel bad for him, then this episode comes along and reminds you who he is. I was bummed about Stanley too, he and Diego had such great chemistry.

2022-07-01 03:32:50 +0000 UTCI find in strange that in media nowadays there seems to be a trend of making African American characters less sympathetic or too sympathetic by sympathizing with killers or characters who are definitely in the wrong. For example we have a train who is always shown to be self serving which is fine but then they made mothers milk look stupid for trying to attack soldier boy. Then we have Monica from Wanda vision and falcon both sympathetic to "terrorist" so people dislike them. Even Mordo is portrayed as a idiot in mom. Here we have Allison doing horrible things and they also keep bringing up her kid and ray but the writing seems to not make you sympathetic to her at all. It feels like there is something wrong here. Like they are trying to discredit African American views by painting them as violent idiots who sympathize with criminals or should not go after the people that wronged them.
