Oh, I totally see Donna's character in a different way. Moral of the story is: she had it in her the whole time. It's not like, "Oh suddenly this bubbly woman who can't stand up to her husband becomes a hardcore vampire beheader" but more of a reckoning that she always had this rage, this fierce spirit that Doug suppressed. She suppressed herself to be with him, to try to make things work, and maybe she felt for a while that she was a failure as a woman or a wife (commentary on body shaming and forced femininity), but ultimately we learn that Donna just IS a badass. And part of her knows that (we see with the guns and her standing up Jody, and even to Len saying "uhm, excuse me, I saw your vampire teeth" even when she's literally tied up about to be murdered).

I completely disagree. S10 is very good, S11 is amazing, S12 takes a dip - but that's because of the big bad. S13 is very good. I'm one who likes S14, but I understand it's not everyone's cuppa.

I respect you guys for powering through these episodes lmao. S1-S5 I love and rewatch constantly but outside those seasons there's only a handful of episodes I would actually rewatch, you guys make it fun though

Yay, happy to see a new supernatural reaction! Yeah, I think this is not my favourite either, Donna and Jodi were charming together. Both Jared and Jensen needed time off during this episode so they made it focused on other characters. This lead to a possible spin off called Wayward Sisters with D and J together, but it didn't happen.
