Yeah my 2 biggest complaints are the runtime and I do feel like it was a couple woke moments. I did feel like it was weird that she didn't have anything else apparently that angered her other than men. And if you pay attention to context then her saying she controls her anger more than Bruce is kinda laughable. I mean his character is literally all about controlling anger and trauma, so I think he knows what he's talking about. They just need to insert these things better into the story rather than just hitting you over the head with it. The runtime has been a problem for me with all the Disney+ shows unfortunately. Things just happen too quick and that tends to come back and bite them in the ass towards the finale because they start introducing things later but they have to rush and finish it because they're limiting the runtime. Other than that and maybe a couple nitpicks I enjoyed the episode for the most part. The cgi was good mostly, the dynamic between Jen and Bruce was good as well. That made the episode for me.

I also think your issues with it are valid, which makes me curious about where this series is going and where the conflict is going to come from. My biggest takeaway from the pilot is simply how amazing Tatiana Maslany is in this role. She immediately brought so much personality to the character.
