This is such an impactful film not only to the universe but to the film industry. The Avengers changed the landscape of film production so much. This is still my favorite MCU film, even though I love many others. I think it works as a standalone if you haven't seen any others. The structure is terrific, the chemistry is spot-on, the sets and visuals hold up. Also, don't feel too bad for Coulson. #CoulsonLives became a huge campaign online. His character was so popular that he was brought back and given his own show on ABC called Agents of SHIELD, which John has reacted to.

2022-08-23 16:43:20 +0000 UTCCouple small things that you may have missed, so when Steve gave Nick Fury 10 dollars, it was a callback to earlier when Steve thought nothing would surprise him, and Fury said "10 bucks says you're wrong". Also, DISNEY DID NOT MAKE THESE MOVIES. Marvel rights were owned by Paramount in these earlier years. That changed soon after, but for a while, other companies owned Marvel rights. You are right about that Blue serum that Steve got, being a serum we've seen before in Incredible Hulk. Emil Blonsky was injected with it, making him a super soldier, before then getting gamma radiation, turning him into The Abomination. He's got two different serums combined. I laughed so much when you missed the actual important end credit scene π€£ I'm happy you saw the schwarma one though. So from now on, nearly ALL MCU movies will have more than one end credit scene. Mid credit, and end credits. Iron Man 3 only has one though, at the end but after that, just look for 2 every reaction. Super happy you're liking the MCU so far, Phase 2 has quite a few bangers, as well as some underrated ones in my opinion. See you next time! β€οΈ
