This is a year later, so probably no one is reading it, but when she says she voted against prop 8, she is saying she is pro gay marriage, because prop 8 was to ban gay marriage after it was legalized. I know it's not at all relevant to the episode's plot but thought I'd mention it lol.

Random but I think Lou’s wife played a shapeshifter in Supernatural lol. The shapeshifter baby episode.

One of the best finales of the shows history. Soo annoying this show has Yings, Yangs and all other sort of things to end the show or this would be theee best I think. The main story case isnt the best but Woodys at a high, Jules is at a high and Henrys scenes with his old pals are just all the feels. The ups the downs, the lefts the rights. I totally forgot this episodes ending happened this finale and as soon as it started with Lou and Henry together it came back to me and i was like oh this is gonna be a reaction for the books.
I dont know if it was a planned pinaple, but when Shaun and Jules are talking at the end about maybe moving in, the bottom of his trainers were a sort of yellowy, green oval with a black stalk coming off the top. Probably just a normal shoe but made me go oooh pinaple??

I, too, watched this when it aired and experienced all the same feelings as everyone else in the comments. The stress of live tv!
I’m not a cinephile by any means, so sometimes the references go over my head. This episode is one of those times. I haven’t seen Chinatown, so didn’t pick up on the things you did. But, I did still enjoy the film noir vibe. And that’s another thing I love about Psych. The show is rife with movie and tv references, especially in the tribute episodes, but you don’t need to get them to enjoy the show.
