Funny that you mention Mystery of Aaravos - it's the 4th season of the Netflix show "The Dragon Prince," which was written by the same head writer as Avatar The Last Airbender! It's a great show (with some familiar voices you'll both recognize) and I would highly recommend it!

Remember how they have the domes made of platinum as security? Yeah, Kuvira said to dismantle those. Platinum is unbendable metal, so much of it could be quite useful. I won't say whether you're right or wrong with the Kuvira stuff, but just ask yourselves this.... do you really think Korra has worked through her trauma? Like completely? She fixed her physical issue with the poison, but trauma is in the mind. I don't think Korra was cocky here. She had to fight, and yeah, she thought she was well enough to fight. I'm so happy you love Kuvira as a villain. There's much debate as to what villain was better, Zaheer or Kuvira. They are both very compelling and interesting characters. Also, small thing about her.... It has been confirmed by the creators that Kuvira is equal to Toph..... in her prime. So Kuviras power is comparable to the greatest Earthbender in the world. She's not to be messed with. I dont think Kuvira seemed one note. She has her motives, but obviously, she has to come off as a tyrant. We are seeing more menacing sides of her. She justifes it to herself, then she can continue with her dastardly deeds. She's escalating, which is normal for villains. The fight was so damn good between Korra and Kuvira. More details are on Korras' arms. They are very thin and atrophied because she has been out of commission for two years. She's not in her prime state. She reminds me of Anakin. Very powerful, and normally she doesn't need to fight with poise, skill, or finesse cause her brute force and sheer power would normally be sufficient enough to beat her enemies. But Kuvira is all skill, all finesse. Korra will need to match that to beat her. As I said, there is sadly a chink in the armor of book 4 of Korra. It's coming up now, and it's something the creators were forced to do, so just don't be surprised. When you watch it, I think there's still merit to be had, but yeah, it definitely messes with the flow. It depends on the watcher, I enjoy it quite a bit, and give it a pass because it's not what was intended, so hopefully you enjoy it too.
