Hey John! Thanks for taking the time to go through my incredibly long, essay of a comment. I'm glad you're enjoying the music too! It's so incredibly good! Yes, the intense score of the fight scenes are so great but the contrast of that with the quieter scenes is lovely. Tegen gets so flushed out as a character this episode and I love what they're able to do with a few significant scenes and moments. The one that always stands out to me is seeing his reactions at the beginning to Gyutaro standing by Hinatsuru and how he struggles to get over to her and then you can see the relief and gratitude on his face towards Tanjiro when he gets up to the roof. It was so fun to see you continuously going "NO" for the death flags with Tengen and his wives and then you have Inosuke getting stabbed that seems to come out of nowhere. It definitely had me yelling at the tv the first time I watched it too. I love the moment of him sawing her head off because it's so incredibly brutal but fits his character so well. But then after that I remember being like "Now take her head and just run! Just run!" and having him basically take off with her head like a football was hilarious. I completely agree that the show has done a good job of making the characters (especially the Hashira) feel long lasting and not just a stepping stone to get to know and teach Tanjiro and the gang the next new thing before moving on. Loved the reaction and I'm really looking forward to the last few episodes! Really glad you're having so much fun watching this arc! Thankfully we don't have to wait too long for the next arc. The promo for it came out this past weekend so we should be getting the next arc in April next year.
