My Hero Academia 6x9 REACTION HIGHLIGHTS!

First off, congratulations on getting married to both you and your new spouse! I hope you have an amazing time and that everything goes really smoothly! Next, I'm so sorry for the essay I'm about to write! I'm so glad you both enjoyed this episode so much! The ending with Bakugou is one of two moments I've been waiting for during this entire arc. I was wondering why the timestamp was so short for this one, but it makes perfect sense, haha! Hope you both enjoyed the next episode! I love when it cuts to the flashback for the Bakugou and All Might talk you were so frustrated from cutting away, but it's great to see you come back to that afterwards because it's really such an important moment. Bakugou's voice actor was told for his conversation with All Might to only speak while looking at Midoriya and not look at All Might at all. Both Bakugou's VA and Midoriya's VA did a phenomenal job this week. Especially when Bakugou speaks at the end of the episode like he's taken over Midoriya's telling of how he became the greatest hero and is just completely calm. Bakugou and Midoriya are tied for my number 1 favourite characters so this episode really is something special! One of my absolute favourite things about My Hero is how Horikoshi has handled Bakugou's character development. Even though at times in previous seasons he can come across as an asshole and like he hasn't changed much it's really unrealistic to expect someone who's been told he's perfect his whole life (like his teachers all throughout school did), who's gotten used to acting the way he does, and is a teenager to completely change his attitude right away. His slow development and realization is so realistic to someone understanding that they've done something wrong and learning from their mistakes, but being too prideful to admit it out loud yet so they try to atone in different ways. I don't know if you caught it, but they've been including some additional frames in the outro for certain events, like with Toga and Twice when Twice died, and now again with Bakugou and Midoriya. Fun fact: the frame of teenage Bakugou reaching out to kid Deku to take his hand like he refused to when he was little is also the cover art for Volume 29! Just have to go back to Aizawa at the beginning because like Shiggy said, he really is the coolest! This moment also gives such weight to the events happening and like you said they don't just brush off the cliffhanger from last week with a ridiculous explanation. Last thing, Shigaraki has some hilarious but amazing lines in this episode and him smiling throughout everything is truly terrifying! Midoriya explains it by saying Shigaraki's body is not ready to handle that much power and it goes back to the Quirk Singularity Theory that the doctor came up with. That eventually quirks will develop past a point the body is able to handle them and the power of One For All that Midoriya takes on and then the amount of quirks that Shigaraki takes on really drive this point home that while they're doing it by purposely taking on this power, eventually this will happen to anyone who has a quirk. Anyways, sorry again for the essay! Really great reaction for this episode and congrats again on getting married!
