2023-01-07 03:16:33 +0000 UTCDo you think that it was possible that in the Reeves universe the rumored Gotham show about a detective struggling for his soul could have been about Stanley Merkel. Maybe Barry was playing Merkel who was a detective who was treated awfully and tried to deal with the corruption and maybe even sometimes interacted with Batman, but then turned mad into the Joker. Reeves may have always wanted a Joker show and just ended up deciding Arkham was the best way to do it instead. Just a theory that I have been holding on to for awhile.

If not, would you be willing to check it out and react to it? I think you guys would love it and the first season just finished airing so it's only 12 episodes. Even if you don't react to it, I think you should check it out because you'll probably both absolutely love it. Fujimoto (the author) is a huge film buff so there's a tone of film references and cinematography on top of just being a great story! Also, not a question, but just wanted to say thanks for everything you do and how much effort you both put into your content!

It was such a phenomenon back in its day, but it gets an unfairly bad rap nowadays because a lot of people disliked and/or misinterpreted the ending, and subsequently wrote off the entire series because of it, which is a damn shame. If by chance you guys haven't seen it, I would wholeheartedly recommend it. If you have seen it, I'm curious to know your opinions on the series as a whole, and the ending in particular.

Some that stuck with you, where you related to them, or maybe even certain arcs you like better in one show over the other. Like Aangs journey and character arc vs Korras... what stands out to you? Then another question you may not get to which is fine, is have you not seen these classic animated Disney movies? You're watching a lot of them lately so something tells me you might have skipped out on them... are there any you have seen? Not a question so feel free to disregard this, but I just wanted to put it in a place where you might see it. If you're liking these Disney classics, I highly recommend the ABC drama called Once Upon a Time. If maybe John or Olivia haven't seen it, I think you guys might really enjoy it!
