Ah, I’ve been checking every so often to see where you’re at within this series before subscribing and watching all your DW reactions but when I saw this one up I had to watch — such a great episode!

2022-12-30 15:47:36 +0000 UTCIf the viewer knows anything about classic and the original origins of the Cybermen, then it's pretty obvious with the imagery and references fairly early on. Aside from the BBC spoiling John Simm's return. I thought it was pretty easy to see through the prosthetics and hear his tone and inflections behind the accent. But it does make for a far better reaction when you don't consciously spot those things in the early part of the episode.

"Genesis of the Daleks" is the quintessential series of Doctor Who). Y'all's conversation is bringing back what it was like having chats with my friends in 2017 (I was a proud Clara fan which stirred things up). Obvs, I like Capaldi's run so I have a lot of fondness for these seasons (& Missy!). I'm looking forward to the next couple episodes.

2022-12-29 01:54:38 +0000 UTCYou have just begun one of my favorite Doctor Who stories ever made. The teaming up of Master and Cybermen has been a DW crossover people have never seen. This team up has become somewhat of a modern classic in the franchise. I have only seen clips of the OG Cybermen and they looked ridiculous. I am impressed how they were adapted to modern quality.
