I don't agree that this episode doesn't forward the main plot. It does, the viewer just doesn't know that until the end of the season when all is revealed with the monster and the plot. This episode does more with the characters for sure, but it does so with all characters, including those surrounding the monster and the main plot.

Another great reaction. Loved your thoughts. I agree the cinematography is beautiful in this show. I had hoped for something more with the scene with Gomez and the sheriff too. But what I appreciated about this episode as you also shared was the character development. I loved Wednesday's vulnerability with her parents, like the jail scene with Gomez and the talk with Morticia about her visions. And just the magic of Jenna Ortega's ability to convey that love and respect as Wednesday. I also really appreciated the scene in the hospital with Eugene because you can just feel how she is struggling internally with her emotions. Also, don't worry about the pacing. It only gets better from here in my opinion. So excited for you to see the next three episodes 🖤

I think the character ends up being so well done precisely because Jenna Ortega puts so much effort and thought into it, sharing the ideas with the creators. It's really nice to see that much involvement from the actors

C'mon just give Thing his own show already! It's not all about you Wednesday! 😉💙
