Going through a rough time.

Hey folks,

Just giving you all a bit of a headsup. As the title says, I've just been through a rough couple of days.

I won't bore you with the details too much, but the TLDR is: first, I got some financial troubles with a lot of unexpected expensive bills to pay, and then my dad got hospitalized on the same day. (He seems to be ok now.).

I'm doing a bit better now... (I think), but these have caused me a massive spike of stress (which I don't handle well), and as a result, I have been having very nasty anxiety panic attacks for a few days now.

They are calming down a bit, and I'm slowly resuming work, but I'm also trying to let my mind and body recover from the stress. As it's difficult to write or code when I'm in this fragile state.

In regard to what I had scheduled this month:

- The Sister of battle set is still releasing this month, it just won't be this weekend as I originally planned because of all the stuff that happened as explained above. But I am like 50 percent done writing the story, so you can still expect to release it soon.

- In regards to 3072 AD, I'm still planning to allocate as much time as I can to it this month to release a patch soon. I'm still hoping to maybe release it this month, but I may have to either release a "mostly" complete patch (minus, say, the VR option for Barb and stuff like, but with all the core scenes and juicy content) or push it to be released in June instead of May. Or a mix of the two. It will depend on how my stress levels evolve in the coming days. Hopefully nothing new happens to get my stress spiked right up. But I'm still going to try to release a patch this month if that's possible. I'll let you know as things evolve.

I'm sorry to have to write this post. There is still a human being behind all of this content I produce that has to deal with regular life issues. That doesn't make me special; everyone has stuff to deal with. I am, however, very sensitive to stress.

Most of the time, I just try to take it on the chin and keep my head in the work no matter what. But there are times when the stress and anxiety are so severe that I'm simply incapable of sitting in front of a computer for a few days. The last time this happened was when my Dog was in serious trouble. I'm now back in such a state again.

With that said, I want to assure you that the sister of battle set is still coming this month as I said. And that I'm still hopeful to releasing a patch for 3072 AD, but depending how fast I recover, I may have to either push release it "mostly" complete or push to June or Both. I'll let you know as things progress.

Thank you all for your understanding and for your support!
You guys mean a lot to me. I don't know where I would be if I couldn't make fun and kinky art for a living. And you are the ones that allow that. Thank you.

I'll keep you all updated as my mental situation stabilizes eventually.

Tonk.

Yeah, I usually try to take bad stuff like this to the chin and keep the grind going, but there are times when the stress is overwhelming and It's one of those times. I'll get back to normal eventually; my body just needs to get back to it's regular self.

Do what you need to do. Your health and mental well-being is more important than these sets or games. I don't think anyone here will hold it against you (and if they do, they're an asshole). It's great to hear that your dad has already gotten better.

Thank you. On my father's side, he's better now. We just got him out of the hospital. It was his prostate giving him trouble, but thankfully it wasn't cancer. He had to stay there for a few days for observation to see if the swelling would go down, but thankfully it did. He's going to take a few days to recover. The financial part is still dangling over my head sadly, so it's still causing me a high amount of anxiety. But now that my dad is doing better, it's a bit more "manageable." Things like these are just part of life sadly. I hope your Mom and Pops are both doing better on your end. And thank you for your kind words.

Hope that hospitalization is nothing too serious. I'm also going through some similar things in regards to helping my father out with something and looking over my mom's various medical appointments, with one coming up later today even. Take care and may everything get sorted out for everyone involved.

Hello Tonk That sound not good and I hope, that your dad and you are doing well again. And there is no problem at all with any delay, because your health is one of the most important thing, you have and you should take yourself any time you need till you feel well again. Regards and stay safe! japani

Oh dear Tonk, what's the saying? Life is pain? I hate it, but sometimes this shit catches up with us again and again. Even though it's hard right now, I think you have the strenght and the sanity to overcome whatever is bothering you right now. Stay strong, my favorite artist. Teach your anxiety that you control them, not the other way around!
