I just wanted to let you know that I put some time into figuring out how to improve cleaning up my mocap data. I found multiple ways to improve the captured motions which I'm hyped to use for my animations.
I apply multiple algorithms such as "peak removal", "butterworth" and "smoothing" to refine and smoothing the keyframe curves and I also create a control rig above the motion capture to modify movements independent.
This results overall in alot more smoother motions and less to none "snappiness". Plus I can adjust easily the thumb and more before I export it to Daz Studio (the thumb seems to be a software Issue. It looks normal in my mocap program and gets f*cked up in my mocap clean up program).
I think improving animation is currently one of the biggest steps I can take to improve my work and I'm happy I found a way to do so. :)
P.S.: The thumb isn't really fixed correctly. I just removed the unnatural outwards bending for a test.
