Ah I see! That makes sense. ;)

I've put small sta wet palettes in the fridge because I live in dry Nevada, USA. Seems to help keep it from drying out if I'm not painting a lot. But if I'm using it a lot more often I could probably leave it out more because I would be spritzing it more often, something to consider, thanks!

Hi Patricia, thank you for your comment. I think I have a video specifically applying to your question about palettes? Anyway, I use a cheap plastic compartment box (with lid) that I keep my paints in. They stay wet all the time, but every now and again I spray it lightly with a fine mist water spray. My palette is not a stay wet palette, but is a peelable palette. That is to say, after a few months or so, I just simply peel the paint off the palette and it is as good as new! (Brilliant invention). I hope this helps? Kind regards John

Love your art and am enjoying the tutorial videos. Can you tell me what palettes you use? I've used the Sta-Wet one, but I've noticed you have a palette off to the side with pure colors and you mix on a different palette. Can both of those palettes help to keep the paint moist? Thanks!
