Commission WIPs
Added 2024-04-14 08:47:19 +0000 UTCFor those interested, my sketch phase is MUCH different when I am drawing for a full piece. When I do sketch commissions, I just sketch up a gesture, apply theme, and its fun practice for myself. With full pieces, I start with a smol rectangle to fit the character into a composition I want without having to use the entire space on the canvas. When the canvas is too large, I tend to think too hard about tiny detail, 'cuz all the lines are so smooth and clean ; ;.....smaller space to draw means more room for forced "no erasing, it is what it is", kind of forcing me into just going with what i have to escape the idea of perfection. :D Then genuinely take me the longest time in a full process, next to line art.
Maybe I'll talk more to you guys about my process in my stuff, maybe even tiny tutorials ?
