Opted to stick with monochrome/gradient mapped greyscale for this, and I'm glad I did - I think it would have been a bit too busy/hard to look at in rendered color. Also, this way I could lean a little harder on the color coded speech bubbles for readability! (Plus I think the pastel bubbles look cute... 😉)
