As usual, a process post for this month’s image set! Some detail crops, as well as a stage-by-stage progression.

Some thoughts: I had a tricky time with the color palette in this one - I think white natural light is just uniquely challenging for me (my WH40k Krieg/Sororitas illustration posed the same problem) and so are pinks and reds, and they teamed up to kick my ass here lolol. After much fiddling though, I got this set to where I wanted it! Adding the blood splatters really helped. Believe it or not the bloody mess wasn’t in my original vision, but tbh my original vision was just wrong about that bahah 😂
