Price's tournaments allow fighters to get killed, this caused Pyre lose his brother Tide.
After falsely promised by ViX to get his brother brought back to life by Puppeteer, he decided no one else should suffer like he did, and went to take down the root of it all, Price.

Pyre entered Prices tournament and challenged Carny, Price's favorite fighter who Price clearly favors.
Pyre wins the fight and threatens to kill Carny, and according to plan, Price cuts off the fight. This proved Price is rigging fights with his biases and showed how corrupted his arena is.

Pyre gathered people who sided with him and started a revolution to stop Price from being so high in power.
